In search of lost time

Welcome back to the daily edition of simpleton. I'm Jacquie Driscolle, Publicist and Vice-President of Corporate Communications for Calzone Ventures. Some of the people we've been partnering with over the years have noticed our sporadic publishing schedule in the second half of '98. We've been working like the dickens on several big-name consulting projects, and you can find a complete listing of our outside work right here at our headquarters. We've also had our top guy Tim working on some interesting new business lines that we're really excited about:

Ghost Writing
If you're a person who loves books, chances are you've already got more than one copy of Jon Kraukauer's outdoor adventure Into Thin Air. After all, there's Into Thin Air the hardcover edition, Into Thin Air the paperback edition, Into Thin Air the "Turtleback" edition, Into Thin Air the trade paperback edition, and Into Thin Air the special illustrated gift edition. You'll be excited to learn that Tim has been hard at work on Into Thin Air the pop-up book (coming soon)!

Community-building
Tim's also been out there on the "net," exchanging online tidbits and techie ideas with other "netheads."

[netscape has sold out]

Family values
It hasn't been all work, though. Tim had a bittersweet weekend return to his hometown, where he tied up some loose ends, did some soul-searching, and mended some fences with family members.

[be a dad!]

In the studio
After that, it was into the recording studio, where Tim provided dyanamically-generated sound effects for the special gift edition of Into Thin Air the book-on-tape.

And on stage!
Ask anybody around the office. Tim's got show business in his blood. Recently he got a chance to follow that dream, and made his live-theater debut!

[come to the cabaret, old chum!]

He sure does a lot! Heck, he even makes the coffee! Tim and everybody at Calzone are looking forward to serving our clients in the days ahead. Feel free to contact me if there's anything more you need!

Ciao!
