The Eternal Stalker

[Always watching!]


It took him 20 years
to realize that you had lied,
claiming to be terrified
of his snot tears.
He'd pay any price,
bear any burden... Christ,
it was more than erotic,
was in its way patriotic.
And after 20 years,
he still would see you and go down
give all his family, all his own,
however old or fat you've grown.
He still would burn it all for you,
for your cluster of dead nerves.
And that is why you still should fear him
after 20 years.
